Terms of Service — Scrollwell

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Scrollwell, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18+ to register. Faculty and SPOC roles must be authorised by their institution. Student accounts may be created by their college SPOC.

3. Content & intellectual property

Research papers, lesson plans, and submissions remain the IP of their author. By uploading, you grant Scrollwell a non-exclusive licence to host and distribute the content for the purposes you select (e.g. peer review, certificate verification).

4. Payments & refunds

Paid courses are subject to the refund policy displayed at checkout. Generally, refunds are available within 7 days of enrolment provided less than 25% of the course has been completed.

5. Conduct

No spam, no plagiarism, no harassment. Submitting fraudulent papers, fake registrations, or tampered certificates is grounds for permanent ban and may be reported to your institution.

6. Liability

The platform is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that every job posting is accurate, every hackathon prize is paid, or every peer review is fair — these are user-generated and we moderate but do not endorse.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to arbitration per the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
